Aaj aangan mein mili humse gungunati sardi ki dhoop

Khil khila raha tha aanchal mein mere jiska rang roop

Taazgi kuch mehka gayi wo dil mein humare

Ek naya josh bhar gayi jivan mein humare

Sardi ki dhoop ka woh pehla ehsaas

Khila gaya rom rom ko humare

Chamak uthi sunehri pedon ki pattiyan

Hans padi fir wo murjhayi kaliyan

Angdai jo li sardi ki dhoop ne

Goonj uthi ye sooni galiyan..

Thithurte honthon pe garam chai ki pyaali

Sardi ke dinon mein lage sabko niraali

Thande thande haathon ko fir sehlaati

Aur dheere se gungunati sardi ki dhoop..

Aaj aangan mein mili humse gungunati sardi ki dhoop

Khil khila raha tha aanchal mein mere jiska rang roop

Its been so long since i wrote a poem well the reason being the wedding season around and four of our friends tied the knot this november :) as its the begining of a beautiful journey for them here's cheers to their new life new aashiyaan...

Ek Aashiyaan....

Kalpana karo ek aise aashiyan ki

Pyar hi pyar ho har eent mein jiski

Koi vivaad ki gunjaish na jahan

Hai aisa aashiyan duniya mein kahan..?

            Dharti ke aanchal mein,

            Ambar ki baahon mein,

            Mamta ki duaon mein,

            Pyar ki baharon mein,

                        Jannat bhi jal jaye jiske khilkhilane se...

                        Kya mil jayega wo aashiyaan humein dhundhne se..??

            Khwabon ki panaho se,

            Vishwas ki nigaahon mein,

            Dilon ki chahat se,

            Rishton ki mithas mein,

Mehakta rahe jiska aangan badon ke aashirwad se...

Bas mil jayega wo aashiyan apne-pan ke ehsaas se..!!!
